Wholistic living
Walking Home is more than food — it's a way of living well. Movement, presence, real ingredients, and connection to where things come from.

The Process
A simple, honest journey — country to kitchen, with nothing in between we wouldn't be proud of.
Every Walking Home animal is born and finished on open Central Queensland country. They graze native and improved pastures, move freely with the seasons, and live the way cattle were always meant to — unhurried, unconfined, and on grass alone.
No feedlots. No grain finishing. No interim holding yards. Our cattle stay on the pasture they know until the day they are processed — a single, low-stress transition that protects animal welfare and the quality of the meat.
The beef is then manufactured into our range of pre-packaged, health-focused meals — built around whole-food ingredients, honest portions, and the same standard we hold to in the paddock. Convenient, nourishing, and made for real life.
Finished meals are available to purchase directly online or from a growing range of retail outlets — so the journey that began on Central Queensland pasture ends, simply, on your table.
What Walking Home stands for
Walking Home is a brand built around three things that belong together. They shape how we raise our cattle, how we make our meals, and how we want people to feel when they eat them.
Walking Home is more than food — it's a way of living well. Movement, presence, real ingredients, and connection to where things come from.
Every meal in the range is built around whole-food ingredients and pasture-fed beef. No fillers, no shortcuts, no apology for keeping it simple.
100% grass-raised, 100% grass-finished. Cattle bred for grass, finished on grass, and never moved off pasture until the day they're processed.
Why it matters
Most beef in the supermarket has passed through a feedlot before it ever reaches a processor. Cattle are removed from pasture, sorted into pens, switched to grain, and finished on a diet their bodies aren't designed for.
Walking Home does it differently. Our cattle are born on pasture, grow on pasture and finish on pasture. They never leave the natural country they were raised on until the day they're processed — one short, low-stress transition, not a series of them.
That single change shows up in everything that follows: better animal welfare, a cleaner nutritional profile, a deeper flavour, and meals you can eat several nights a week without thinking twice about where the beef came from.
